Our Photography Contest has come to an end. We would like to sincerely thank all the participants for sharing their incredible images and experiences. We are currently reviewing all the photographs received and will publish the winning images on this very page very soon. Thank you for being part of this initiative!
SCOPE AND DURATION
HOVIMA Hotels and all hotels in the chain are holding a photography contest on their corporate Instagram pages:
with the aim of promoting their social networks and establishing a direct communication channel with their customers.
The challenge begins on August 3, 2026, at 00:01h and ends on August 17, 2026, at 23:59h.
The winner announcement will be published on social networks from August 19, 2026.
— They have uploaded a photograph to their public Instagram profile with the theme "Postcards from HOVIMA" in which they best represent their vacation. That image which, if they had to turn it into a postcard, they would send to someone to summarize their experience. It could be a special corner of the hotel, a sunset, an activity, a moment as a couple, with the family, or any memory that reflects what their vacation meant. If the photos are taken from any HOVIMA hotel, they will have an extra bonus in the evaluation.
— Mentioning @hovimahotels and the profile of the hotel where they would like to win the stay: @hovimacoolcostaadeje, @jardincaleta, @hovimalapinta, @hovimapanorama, @hovimasantamaria or @hovimasuitescostaadeje.
— In the post description adding the hashtag #HOVIMAMoments.
— Follow the corporate account of the hotel where they would like to win the stay: @hovimacoolcostaadeje, @jardincaleta, @hovimalapinta, @hovimapanorama, @hovimasantamaria or @hovimasuitescostaadeje.
Participants may participate as many times as they want.
The challenge jury reserves the right to remove all those photographs that have a derogatory or offensive tone, or that do not respect the theme of the contest: "Postcards from HOVIMA".
Participation in the contest implies the assumption of authorship by the participant; otherwise, they may be disqualified. Likewise, HOVIMA Hotels, HOVIMA Cool Costa Adeje, HOVIMA Jardín Caleta, HOVIMA La Pinta, HOVIMA Panorama, HOVIMA Santa María, and HOVIMA Suites Costa Adeje will decline any responsibility derived from improper and/or unauthorized use of the photographs.
Creativity, originality, and techniques used will be valued, in addition to the quality and value provided in the photographic piece presented.
The prize does not include travel for the winner to the hotel or any other service.
The prize will only be redeemable between 09/01/26 and 11/30/27 and will be subject to availability. The periods from 12/24/26 to 01/03/26, from 03/21/27 to 03/28/27, and from 08/01/27 to 08/31/27 are excluded.
In the event that the winner does not accept the prize, it cannot be exchanged for another or for any cash value.
Before delivery of the prize, it will be necessary for the winner to identify themselves with their ID or passport.
The winner will sign and send to HOVIMA Hotels a document that will contain the acceptance of the prize and receipt of the same with compliance.
If it is not possible to contact the winner according to the data available on their profile, if they do not accept the prize, or if these terms and conditions have not been met, HOVIMA HOTELS reserves the right to declare the prize void.
Participation in the challenge implies acceptance of these terms and conditions and the assignment to HOVIMA HOTELS, HOVIMA Cool Costa Adeje, HOVIMA Jardín Caleta, HOVIMA La Pinta, HOVIMA Panorama, HOVIMA Santa María, and HOVIMA Suites Costa Adeje of all copyright of the photographs presented in the contest, as well as the assignment of all image rights of the people who appear in them, with HOVIMA HOTELS, HOVIMA Cool Costa Adeje, HOVIMA Jardín Caleta, HOVIMA La Pinta, HOVIMA Panorama, HOVIMA Santa María, and HOVIMA Suites Costa Adeje reserving the right to publish any of the photographs presented to the challenge as advertising or communication support.
Likewise, participation in the challenge implies acceptance of the HOVIMA Hotels Privacy Policy.
Participation in this contest includes the assignment of the right to one's own image (photographs), without temporal or spatial limitation, necessary to carry out the contest. It is done under the provisions of Organic Law 1/1982, of May 5, on Civil Protection of the Right to Honor, Personal and Family Privacy, and Own Image and in accordance with current legislation on the Protection of Personal Data.
The legal basis for the processing of your data is your express consent with your participation in this contest and, therefore, the contractual relationship with the acceptance of these terms and conditions. Your data will be in our database during the management of the contest and, in any case, during the legal limitation period for possible claims or by request for deletion. The data will not be transferred to third parties except by legal obligation. No international transfers are made.
In the event of any incident regarding the processing we perform of your personal data, you may exercise the rights of access, rectification, deletion, and portability of your data, and the limitation or opposition to its processing, at any time, by means of a written document accompanied by a document that identifies you, addressed to:

CONTEST MECHANICS
The prize will be decided by a jury composed of 3 members from each hotel and 2 members from the HOVIMA Hotels headquarters; each of these members will choose 2 photographs from among all the photographs that have participated in the contest, awarding a value of 10 points to the favorite photograph and 5 points to the second chosen photograph. The photograph with the highest score will win.Creativity, originality, and techniques used will be valued, in addition to the quality and value provided in the photographic piece presented.
CHALLENGE PRIZE
A 4-night stay at the HOVIMA hotel of the winner's choice on a half-board basis in an apartment or superior room for 3 adults, 2 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 2 children.The prize does not include travel for the winner to the hotel or any other service.
